Job Description: ■Recruitment Background While the BI market is growing at 15% per year, there is a shortage of experienced BI tool engineers. Therefore, the company has launched a practical training scheme for BI tool (Tableau) engineers. After joining the company, you will undergo special training (Tableau, SQL *depending on your experience) and then be assigned to an actual project in a group company. They provide an environment where you can gain experience through OJT in actual work and aim to become a BI engineer. The company is looking for several people who are willing to work towards the business development of the client and the company as well as their own growth. This is an opportunity to learn new technologies, polish your business (problem solving) and engineering (development) skills, and increase your market value. They are looking forward to receiving applications from motivated individuals. ■Training ・After joining the company, you will be required to participate in BI engineer development training. The training period will range from two weeks to a maximum of one month depending on your experience. ＜Curriculum＞・Tableau Desktop 　Beginner (basic concepts, terminology/data terminology, screen structure, data connection, aggregation options, various processing, data extraction/custom SQL, etc.) 　Intermediate (calculation formulas, graph application, visualization, etc.) 　Advanced (parameters, various sets, dashboard functions, actions, etc.) ・Tableau Prep ・SQL 　Learn the basics of SQL statements, data aggregation and sorting, table joins, etc. *Skip if you have practical experience. After completing the above training, you will be assigned to an actual project within a Parsol Group company and will move on to the OJT stage. ※The training curriculum and assignments may be subject to change. ■Career path (image) As DX continues to advance at all companies, engineers are now required not only to have technical skills, but also to be able to listen to and visualize customer requests, including potential ones. It is also very important to have the business skills to make this happen. In this position, you will start by acquiring basic knowledge and skills as a BI engineer, and then gain experience in a position close to end users to enhance your technical and business skills. This is a mid- to long-term scheme where motivated individuals can aim to become BI consultants who can support companies from the aspect of data utilization, from data utilization planning and architecture design to solution selection, implementation and continuous improvement. The strength of the company's group is the foundation that allows you to realize a variety of career paths in fields related to advanced technologies such as AI, CRM (SFDC), etc., in accordance with your wishes and preferences. ■Job After completing the training, you will be assigned to an actual project at a company in the company's group or a company affiliated with the training scheme. As a BI consultant, you will be assigned to a department responsible for data analysis and data visualization using BI tools for the company's clients or departments within the company. You will be participating in a number of projects such as prime projects and group company projects off-site. At the beginning of your career, you will acquire knowledge of BI through on-the-job training in data visualization and dashboard construction using BI tools (Tableau, etc.), and you will be able to take charge of data analysis, data mart design/construction instructions for dashboard construction, and eventually detailed specification adjustments with the client. ■Advantages of working with BI BI is an acronym for Business Intelligence. BI is rapidly becoming effective due to technological developments such as data aggregation by cloud computing of enterprise core systems, accumulation of a wide variety of data in the enterprise by IoT and digitalization, faster processing of servers and networks, and automated processing by AI and Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Large companies are promoting BI utilization and investment to increase their competitive advantage, while small and medium-sized companies are beginning to use BI services, and the need for BI is increasing. In the future, the data handled by companies will become broader, deeper, and more voluminous, so people who can utilize BI and data will be needed in any company, and their activities are expanding.
