Job Description: 【About the Company】 The company's mission is to "reinvent the value creation mechanism to advance humanity" by using cutting-edge generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technology to help businesses transform. They operate a SaaS business that provides an AI agent specifically for engineers in the manufacturing sector. Their new PaaS business offers a service that structures a company's hidden data, turning it into a valuable asset. Their main focus is on the R&D departments of major Japanese manufacturers. Already, over 300 companies—including 30% of the Nikkei 225—have implemented their services. The company plans to expand from manufacturing R&D to other enterprise companies in Japan, and eventually to global businesses. The company is also dedicated to developing a purely domestic LLM with a strong grasp of the Japanese language and business domain. In May 2024, they released a 100-billion-parameter model. In October 2024, they completed their Series D funding round, raising ¥4.5 billion and bringing their cumulative funding to ¥8.8 billion. With a workforce of 150 employees, they are now hiring more people to support their continued growth. 【Current Challenges】 The company's SaaS product is designed to facilitate innovation in manufacturing R&D by providing a single point of access to internal and external information. While the engineering team has about 30 members, the difficulty of planning AI and LLM-related products is causing delays. There's a particular need for technically complex planning, such as developing the foundation for collecting and using vast amounts of internal and external information, and designing new user experiences that leverage the company's proprietary LLM and generative AI. Therefore, the company is recruiting for a position that requires a person to connect AI, LLMs, and product management to drive product planning. 【Responsibilities】 You'll be a Product Manager for the company's SaaS product, specializing in AI LLMs. The company's product organization divides its development teams into units called "Features." As a Product Manager, you'll be assigned to a specific Feature and be responsible for managing that team. You will primarily collaborate with engineers, product designers, and AI researchers, taking a technically-oriented role to lead product planning and promotion, with a specific focus on AI and LLMs. ■Specifically You'll work with Machine Learning Engineers and researchers to plan and execute initiatives that leverage AI and LLMs for the company's SaaS product. ・Formulating product strategies and creating roadmaps. ・Collaborating with Machine Learning Engineers and researchers to verify the feasibility of AI/LLM initiatives and direct their design and implementation. ・Discussing and deciding on the content and priority of product improvement initiatives. ・Verifying the effectiveness of initiatives after release and applying those insights to future plans. *The scope of your duties may change to encompass other development-related tasks. 【Team Structure】 The Product Planning team consists of 3 Product Managers and 4 designers. 【Development Environment】 [Organization Structure] The company uses a feature-based structure, where each team consists of: One Product Manager One to three Product Designers Five to seven Engineers *Development is also carried out in collaboration with BizDev, PMMs (Product Marketing Managers), and AI researchers. [Technical Stack] Languages: Vue.js, TypeScript, Ruby (Rails), Python Databases: RDS (Aurora/MySQL), Elasticsearch Infrastructure/Cloud: AWS (ECS, Batch, Fargate, Lambda, Cognito, SQS, SES, Step Functions, IAM, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, etc.), Datadog, SendGrid Data Analysis & ETL: Redash, BigQuery, Trocco Documentation: Notion Communication: Slack Generative AI: In-house LLM, Azure OpenAI, Devin, Cursor, Claude, Code Dify, CodeRabbit 【Position Highlights】・You'll gain hands-on experience implementing the company's proprietary LLM technology. ・You'll work on challenging product development alongside machine learning specialists, including ML engineers and natural language processing researchers. ・The company has a well-structured team where Product Managers, designers, engineers, and BizDev all work together, fully dedicated to the product.

Required Skills: 【Required】 *Meet one of the following: ・3+ years of experience in product or project management for initiatives involving Generative AI, LLMs, or RAG. ・3+ years of experience in development or research (as an AI Engineer, Data Scientist, or Researcher, etc.) for Generative AI, LLMs, or RAG, along with experience in upstream processes like requirements definition or development direction. 【Preferred】・Experience in Product Management for a SaaS product. ・Experience with products or projects related to Natural Language Processing. ・Knowledge of UX research and UI/UX design. ・Professional experience in domains such as manufacturing or research and development.
