Job Description
This service originated within ExaWizards Inc., a leading AI-focused listed company in Japan, and is now a rapidly growing AI photo service under the umbrella of Codmon Group, the largest ICT service provider for childcare and educational facilities in Japan. It is a SaaS platform incorporating multiple proprietary AI models that significantly reduces the workload associated with photographing, organizing, and sharing photos during childcare and education. This contributes to reducing the burden on childcare providers, enhancing parents' sense of security and trust in the facilities, and ultimately leading to better childcare and education. In this position, you will primarily be responsible for the development, operation, and improvement of the backend and infrastructure systems for "Tlink." You will be mainly responsible for the following tasks. ■ Main Development and Operations Tasks ・Developing and optimizing deep learning-based image recognition models. ・Extracting data from production environments, designing annotation schemas, and building custom datasets. ・Optimizing models and improving inference performance. ・Developing prototypes that software engineers can reference. ■ Environment ・Fully remote and flexible working hours (there are team members residing in remote locations).  *Please note that there may be cases where coming to the office is required. ・Foreign engineers are part of the team (opportunities for communication in English are available; those who are not comfortable with English are also welcome). You can proceed with their work with autonomy in a remote environment, without being bound by work location or time. Depending on your preferences and aptitude, there are opportunities to be involved in a wide range of technical areas such as MLOps, GPU computing, and model optimization. Required Skills
【Required】 ・5+ years of development experience in image recognition and deep learning. ・Practical experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch (or TensorFlow). ・Experience in optimizing machine learning models and deploying them to production environments, as well as experience in developing image AI models that have been implemented as services. ・Ability to communicate with English-speaking engineers (translation tools etc. can be used). 【Preferred】 ・Experience deploying machine learning models on cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). ・Knowledge and experience in MLOps (model deployment, monitoring). ・Experience handling large datasets. 【Ideal Applicants】 ・Possesses strong ownership, can independently identify issues and areas for improvement, and take action. ・Able to demonstrate technical leadership and guide the team. ・Actively learns about and flexibly incorporates new technologies and unknown fields. ・Has a strong awareness of quality and an attitude of pursuing engineering best practices. ・Values communication with those around them and can maximize the overall team's achievements. ・Has a strong interest in social issues and improving the educational field, and finds fulfillment in creating services that enhance the quality of childcare and education.
