Job Description

Through these services, the company helps clients build highly adaptable logistics infrastructures. Their mission is to create and provide new value in the logistics, distribution, and e-commerce industries by pioneering the future of logistics with innovative concepts and technologies. ■Position Overview In this position, you will be responsible for supporting clients in achieving their business goals and driving sustainable reform in the logistics and global supply chain management domains. Your role will span everything from conceptual planning to operational reform and improvement support. Projects can be diverse, including logistics strategy and DX conceptual planning, logistics center design support, operational design/rebuilding support, vendor selection support, and requirements definition/implementation support for AI solutions. The main clients are major global companies in the manufacturing, wholesale, and retail sectors, as well as 3PL (third-party logistics) and warehousing companies. Project sizes typically range from a few million to tens of millions of yen, with durations from one month to about a year. This is an ideal position for someone with prior consulting experience in the logistics domain or with experience driving and reforming logistics operations at a 3PL or manufacturing company. ■Responsibilities 1. Project Management: 20% You'll be responsible for the full lifecycle of consulting and solution implementation projects, from launch to closing. Your duties will include: ・Scope Management: Managing requirements. ・Resource Management: Handling people, materials, money, time, and information. ・Quality & Risk Management: Ensuring quality standards and managing project risks. ・Progress Management: Monitoring and tracking project progress. ・Reporting: Creating various reports, including meeting minutes and other project documents. ・Client Relations: Building strong relationships with clients and resolving conflicts. 2. Logistics Consulting: 80% You'll be responsible for a wide range of logistics consulting tasks, including: ・Information Gathering and Analysis: You'll conduct client interviews and analyze the information you collect. ・Problem-Solving and Solution Development: You'll identify challenges through various analyses, and then develop and define solutions and strategies. ・Implementation Support: You'll provide support for implementing solutions and improving business processes. ・Contract-Related Work: You'll handle contract-related tasks for consulting projects. ・Project Documentation: You'll create project deliverables and other materials. *The weight of each task will vary depending on the project's specific needs.
Required Skills
【Required】 At least two of the following three experiences: [1] Practical experience (internal or external) in consulting for SCM, logistics, and supply chain management. This includes strategy planning, problem identification, measure formulation, and execution planning. [2] Practical experience (internal or external) in business reform projects related to logistics, especially in warehouse operations. This includes designing new processes and KPIs. [3] Practical experience in pre-sales, system conceptualization, and promoting stabilization for core or logistics systems. ・Project management skills are mandatory. This includes coordinating various stakeholders, facilitation, creating documents, and giving presentations. ・Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1 or higher. ・English: A willingness to read and write in English is acceptable. ・Chinese: Business-level proficiency 【Preferred】 [1] Business consulting experience (3+ years) [2] Experience managing multiple concurrent projects as a Project Manager or PMO in business transformation initiatives (3+ projects) [3] Experience involved in logistics center operation design and implementation [4] Experience analyzing logistics transaction data [5] Business development experience with AI-related solutions and services [6] ROI calculation, estimation planning, and proposal creation skills [7] Experience implementing core systems and logistics systems 【Ideal Applicants】 ・Enjoy taking on challenges in new fields ・Possess the ability to work autonomously and see projects through, even in highly uncertain environments ・Maintain an open mind and engage in proactive communication ・Understanding of or experience working at venture/startup companies
