Job Description
The company is a rapidly growing enterprise in its 7th year since founding, achieving ¥6 billion in sales, a 2x to 3x annual growth rate, and realizing increased revenue and profit every year while remaining independently capitalized. It operates a diverse range of businesses, including talent placement and job board services specializing in the essential workers who support the infrastructure industry, operational support SaaS tailored for the construction sector, and M&A support dedicated to solving business succession challenges. As the Direct Recruiting business phase has shifted from the startup period to the growth period, the company is recruiting a Software Engineer who can drive development and verification of measures without barriers between the front-end and back-end. Responsibilities You will be responsible for the overall development operations across the following three products within the company's Direct Recruiting business ・Job site for job seekers ・Recruitment management screen for client companies ・Internal operations management screen Your mission is to drive the business forward, and you will be entrusted with all development-related tasks, from planning and design to implementation, testing, and release. The development process utilizes Scrum, with tasks being decided upon and estimated during a weekly Sprint Meeting. Engineers are actively encouraged to propose measures and improvement ideas. Approximately 10% to 20% of the week is dedicated to tasks aimed at repaying technical debt and maintaining documentation. 【Immediate Challenges and Future Goals】 Increase in SEO traffic (performance improvement, enhanced crawlability). Improvement of hiring efficiency for client companies and the internal Customer Success team via the recruitment management screen. Enhancement of the development team's productivity. Scaling of the development team. Repayment of technical debt, including test automation. 【Technology Stack】 Languages: Ruby, TypeScript Frameworks: Ruby on Rails, React.js, Next.js Infrastructure: Heroku, Vercel, Firebase, Google Cloud Tools: GitHub, Notion, Slack, Figma, Datadog, Docker, Kintone, Google Workspace 【Position Highlights】 ・Modern Development Environment: Utilizing a modern development environment with technologies like Next.js and Apollo Client (GraphQL). ・Significant Autonomy: High degree of discretion regarding technical foundation, technology selection, and design. ・Full Development Cycle: Responsibility for tasks ranging from requirements gathering in collaboration with business stakeholders, through design, and finally to implementation. ・Close to Business Creation: The ability to develop in a position closely involved with business creation and strategy. ・Skill Expansion: Opportunity to broaden one's skills by handling both server-side and front-end implementation on a feature-by-feature basis during development. ・Unique Challenges: Job listings and selection management systems for essential workers have few precedents and present many unique challenges. ・High Impact on Solutions: Significant autonomy to determine how the product will solve these problems, taking ownership from the conceptualization stage.
