Job Description: ■Introduction The company's brand message is “We are happy to work with this team” all over the world. The company develops and provides services based on the desire to “increase the number of people and teams who can enjoy their work”. With offices not only in Japan but also in the United States (New York) and the Netherlands (Amsterdam), the company promotes its business in a global environment. They currently operate three services, Backlog, Cacoo and Nulab Pass. ■Recruitment Background This position is to develop the company's flagship service, Backlog, a project and task management tool. Backlog is a service with a long history, having been launched in 2005. In order to further evolve the service, we are looking for members who will be involved in development and operational improvement. ■Your Role Backlog Section, Git Team (3 members *as of April 2025) Responsible for Backlog Git hosting (Git function https://support-ja.backlog.com/hc/ja/articles/360036145053), development and operations. The team conducts weekly scrum ceremonies (sprint reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives) in one-week sprints. It is a full-cycle team with responsibility from QA, operations, and infrastructure building to front-end and back-end. ■Responsibilities -Fix bugs, improve existing features, and develop new features for Git functions -Secondary investigation of user inquiries escalated by the support team -Maintain Git server (EC2) ∟ Support disk expansion of storage holding repositories ∟ Support EC2 kernel updates ∟ Various alerts Support 【Development Environment】 Backend: Scala / Go / CGO / gRPC / Perl / Git Frontend: Haxe / Knockout.js / jQuery / React Cloud Infrastructure: ECS / EC2 / EBS (storage operations) / S3 / SQS / ES / Firehorse / ALB,. NLB CI/CD: Jenkins / AWS Code Deploy ・All of the employees at the company use the company's products (Backlog / Cacoo / Nulab Pass). ・Besides, they also use Google Workspace (Gmail / Google Drive / Google Docs / Google Meet, etc.) and Slack. Each member of the team has his or her own area of expertise, but they have also been working together to catch up on tasks outside of their area of expertise little by little to avoid individualization of tasks within the team. After joining the company, you do not need to be involved in all areas from the beginning. Of course, those who are willing to take on challenges in areas in which they do not excel are most welcome. It is possible to assign roles based on your skills and career direction. Required Skills: ■Required ・Experience in SaaS infrastructure operation ・Experience in back-end / front-end development (both working experience and self-study experience/knowledge are welcome) ・Ability to work with team members toward a common goal ・Ability to abstract things and see things in a logical way ・Not uncomfortable with text communication in English (translation tools are available) ∟ Experience in business English or in using English in the workplace is not necessary. ■Preferred ・SRE experience ・Linux server construction and operation experience ・Front-end development experience using React, etc. ・Play Framework development experience ・Leadership experience in a development team
