Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management and control of infrastructure system construction projects.
You will participate in large-scale renewal projects from the initial stages, including proposal and requirements definition.
【Examples of Products Involved】
Servers: Host-based servers, open-based servers (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX, etc.)
Cloud: Public clouds such as AWS/GCP/Azure, and private clouds
Virtualization: VMware/Hyper-V/Xen; Container-based virtualization: Docker/Kubernetes/Istio
OS: Linux-based OS (RHEL, CentOS, etc.), Unix-based OS (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX), Windows Server
DB: Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQL, PostgreSQL
Others: Various middleware, various OSS, shell scripts, etc.
【Responsibilities】
■Tasks
Cost estimation, cost management, schedule management, resource and personnel management, quality control, risk management, management of subordinate members, etc.
■Phases
A full range of tasks including requirements definition, basic design, detailed design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance.

【Career Path】
The company rarely handles isolated projects limited to downstream manufacturing or maintenance. Since individuals can be involved from the upstream stages, they can gain experience in requirements definition and design, and are often placed in key project positions, allowing them to enhance their management experience and skills through their work.
<Example: Late 20s to Early 30s> While engaging in development work at a site where their existing skills can be utilized, they also learn management duties under a Project Leader (PL). Afterwards, according to their preference, they are assigned to projects requiring the acquisition of new skills, diligently improving their abilities despite initial challenges with unfamiliar technologies. The company encourages the acquisition of multiple languages, so younger employees are given opportunities to gain experience in many different work environments.
<Example: 30s and Up> They first engage in development work at a site where their existing skills can be utilized and are promoted to sub-leader after six months. Subsequently, they are assigned as a PL to a different project and, within one year of joining the company, are responsible for a project managing 18 people. At the company, age is completely irrelevant to promotion. There are mid-career hires in their early 30s who are entrusted with sectors managing dozens of people.
Required Skills
【Required】
・3+ years of experience in building and operating vendor products.
・Project leader-level management experience.
*Experience leading a team of approximately 10 people (including employees and business partners).
・Experience in the upstream processes (requirements definition) of construction projects.
【Preferred】
・Experience as a Playing Manager.
・PMP certification or IPA Project Manager certification.
・Deep understanding of system architecture.
・Knowledge and experience with banking systems (FISC) and ITIL.
・Experience with PCI DSS compliance.
・Business-level English conversation skills.
